Major Pentatonic Scale – Guitar

The bright, sweet-sounding pentatonic: country, pop and classic rock solos over major-key songs.

Formula: 1 – 2 – 3 – 5 – 6. The shapes are movable: learn them in one key and slide them to any other. Here it is in C, the most common key to learn it in.
